Not sure if anyone has said this, but obviously you will likely cut yourself a few times the first few goes, however you could solve this a little with a few changes, one use a razor with less aggressive bite (less blade showing i.e. use an adjustable on setting One), use less sharp blades (do not use blades like Feathers for first shave... good bye face.
