New machine ordered today :)

Nice. I have an Elektra T1 just the 6 litre boiler :) It's slightly overkill for home use but the convenience of being plumbed in is unbeatable. Have fun with your new toy!

Not up here in the west of Scotland - water is extremely soft and scaling is just a non issue. If I'd needed a full cafe style softener system might have thought twice about the plumbed in option
 
got a great email from fracino today, saying that the Cherub i'm buying is part of the new revised lineup. They have finally fixed the things that were the most annoying, and addeda luxury or two.

-the water tank is now removable for cleaning
-the water tank also takes an in line filter/softener
-the drip tray has been made larger
-the pump mounts are improved and therefore quieter.

Pretty much makes it my perfect machine. Quite excited about getting it now.

First impression. It's a LOT bigger than I expected.

What's odd is that photos don't make the bulk obvious... It's as deep as a kitchen cabinet, and in the flesh looks bigger than photos make it look.

However.... The black sides have a metallic sparkle in them, and it looks very fancy in the flesh. So imposing yes, but still quite acceptable in a kitchen lol.

Still trying to get the hang of using it though... It's my frst machine of this scale. The steam power is brutal
