My First Straight Shave, thoughts

Brilliant! I'm feeling the same way, perhaps a bit further into it but still thoroughly enjoying the experience.
Something I've recently learned is that the odd, and sometimes not so odd shave doesn't go so well. For any number of reasons, the learning process sometimes slows or goes backwards. It's so easy to blame something, then go nuts trying to fix one thing. Understanding that you don't need to sweat the details and accepting the odd bad shave has been a big step forward for me.
I've also had great leaps in consistency/ results revisiting the advice and video clips posted elsewhere in this section, it takes on a new meaning when you can apply it to your own technique.
