34C was my first safety razor .. and its still in my rotation.
Its a nice all round razor, middle of the road on all fronts.
Its also my go-to razor for travel.. Its nicely compact and easily replaced should something terrible happen to it.
Contrary to some peoples experience ive never had any problems with a Derby in my 34C. In fact for the last 2 years its been the only blade in there.
Ive recently gained an appreciation of the Yellow Gillette Sharp-edge blades however, and they seam to work very well in the 34C
