If you put photographic lightbox in a genral search on Ebay there will be loads of examples to look at, i dont use one myself, but certainly would come in handy on many occasions.

This is the instruction I used, but I (of course ;)) had to make my own design - and it works, but I now know that if I had followed these instruction I would have a better light box :D

Colour balance and uniform illumination are the main things. I bought a Hancocks A3 lightbox many years back for the best part of £200. I don't think you can get them new anymore but if you can find one it is excellent.
