I decided to try this out ;http://www.theshavingroom.co.uk/forum/thread-27987.html
My thoughts.
Difficult to hold, anyway. Even more so, at a good shaving angle, especially with fingers like cows tits.
I stropped it before use, but, in use, it did not feel sharp enough. I expected to feel nothing in the way of hair being sliced, when, in fact, the first pass was quite jaggy. Never having used one before, was I expecting too much? I doubt that the shaving angle was consistant, which does not help.
Two passes gave me a resonable shave, but not up to the standard that my Western razors, honed by Rob, achieved.
I will have to either wrap the tang, or fit a handle, if I'm going to continue to use this, which I'm inclined to do.
No blood was drawn, so I rate it as a successfull first attempt.:icon_rolleyes:
Steve.
