I remember seeing Boris's dad hosting Have I Got News For You? a couple of years back. Almost indistinguishable other than age.

Did anyone just see the aforementioned BBC panel show (HIGNFY)? They showed a clip from the programme from about 15 years ago when Savile was a guest on Ian Hislop's team. The conversation ran something like this:

Angus Deayton (no stranger to sex scandals himself): "You spent 3 years living in a caravan, didn't you, Jimmy?"
Savile: "A motor caravan, actually."
Hislop: "What did you do in there?"
Savile: "Anyone I could."

At the time, the audience laughed slightly nervously, but, when they cut back out of the clip to now, you could hear the audience taking a big intake of breath. Graham Linehan, who, interestingly enough was on Ian's team tonight, made the point we were all thinking, that Savile was clever enough to hide in plain sight. He joked about himself in such a way that you didn't think he was serious.

No joke here although maybe they should be.
