Made this Pavlova last night for the Wife and me, whipped double cream and Creme patissier and finished of with Strawberries, I think my Wife is seriously impressed with my first attemp at this desert, from the hairy bikers cook book.

well Blades a Pavlova is a lager version of a meringue basically the base are made of egg whites and castor sugar whipped to stiff peaks,then spread on to a grease proof paper on to a baking tray then baked in the oven on a very low gas mark 2 for one hour, then turn oven off and leave the base for one hour more to cool down in the oven, then remove and top with whipped cream and creme patissere, and then finish with Strawberries, it's quite a light dessert and very delicious, the way to a Womans heart is definietly through her stomach I dont care what anyone tells meBlades said:
