Is it worth spending more

I have one in best, I wouldn't change it for a super as the best grade suits me perfectly.

If anything, 2 band super should alternative as it offers a totally different experience. I have a chubby 2 in this grade of hair and it's just brilliant.
 
The handle is a bit ditsy on the CH1, on that budget I'd get one made in the chubby style in two band from Beejay or a Duke 3 in Best if you've settled on getting a Simpson.
 
Simpsons Chubby 1 in Super at their list price is £124 inc. VAT. For a 23mm knot with a loft of 46mm, handle height 41mm.

The "Best" model is £85.

A Duke 3 in Best is £76. For a 23mm knot, with a loft of 47mm and a handle height of 46mm.

Of those three, the Duke is by far the best value if you want a Simpsons brush with the same knot size as a Chubby 1. The "Best" grade and density make for a very good all round performance.
 
Thanks for the replies decided to go for the Chubby 1 in best,this will be my first Simpsons brush so looking forward to using it when it arrives.
