Hot flannel/towels

Like them more than the snow that's falling right now. It may be a white Christmas after all.
Just thinking where I can put barber chair so I can sit down while hot toweling!!!
 
I don't do it every time but I sometimes soap up my face with a frothy MWF lather then cover it with a hot towel as part of my preshave prep.

It's great for softening the hair and preparing for the shave - It works a treat and I really should do it every time but usually make do with water alone.

It's very rare that I don't shave immediately after a shower, but it's normally flannel under the hot tap and hold in place if I need too. However I upgraded a couple weeks ago to a small towel, soaked in cold water, wrung out well and then 2 mins on the microwave, flapped it about for a few seconds then sat in a chair and wrapped my neck and face with it, let it sit for a few minutes. Really was a nice shave, but no better than hot shower prep, just better than hot flannel prep.
