Hello from North of the border.

Hello one and all.

I'm not new to wet shaving. Other than trying my brother's electric thingy when I was about seventeen, I've been wet ever since !

I have been using straights for the last twenty five years. Not only a good shave, but it does concentrate the mind.

I could not buy a decent brush locally when I needed to replace my old one., so I decided to ,make one.

Hence research, shaving forums, more soaps, creams, oils, razors, etc. etc.and I have yet another hobby.

I've had a wee mooch about and look forward to joining in.

As far as North of the border goes, I'm in North East Scotland, up on the Moray Firth.
Not a native though.

I doubt that I am the best qualified to offer advice in using straights. I have learned through trial and error.

Errors are not good with straights !:icon_wink:
