Well said...Just use a boar and break it in naturally, don't listen to the keyboard warriors and youtube influencers to speed things up. You can't undo the damage.
What seems to be the issue ?I have a omega jade green from Connaught and when I broke it in I didn’t realise that I was only supposed to soak the tips. With my travel boar I broke it in with tips only and I prefer the ‘stiffer’ feel, have I killed the jade green ?

My only boar brush is 40 years old, still waiting for it to be broken in, after I have used it for a few years it may be ok for washing the wheels on the car.
