Gillette Rubie Plat Plus

I bought 200 of these from Russia (with love ;) ) at least five or six yrs. ago and packed them away using one very, very rarely. I know that now they have changed the name twice to Rubie Plus and now just plain Rubie. I would assume they all are the same blade. Regardless, I used to think it was the best DE blade you could buy at that time and after using one these past few days I'd have to agree. Effortless shaves. Now before anyone goes crazy and buys a bunch let me add a caveat here. I would wager a day's pay that if I had an abject stranger load different modern Gillette blades in my razor for me that I could not tell any real difference as they are simply superb if one does his part re prep, correct razor & technique.

Have I told you lickspittles about the Gillette Tech? ;):ROFLMAO:

@SpeedyPC did a good job of chasing down the changes over on p&c:

You may recognise the pictures provided on post #14 there as belonging to TSR's most handsome man :sneaky:

Is it down to using a lot of lotion on your left hand, so it is exceptionally well moisturised?
