The Russian Gillette blades are largely excellent, but Gillette make some fine blades in India and China as well (South America too, but they are difficult to get hold off here).
Gillette Winner Platinum and 7 Black are two of my favourite blades, both made in India.

I got mine in Egypt too, they are made in India. Excellent razors though come second to the Gillette Nacet blades.

There’s a thread on B&B from 2008 saying the blue pack are made from Wilkinson Sword which i doubt but you never know

London Bridge Blades??
I bought a razor on ebay last week and the seller included some blades. Some of the blades were "London Bridge" blades made by wilkinson sword. Has anyone heard of these or tried them? These are older blades, although I'm not sure how old they are.

@Bogeyman it turns out the new Blue London Bridge is actually a brand new blade!
The Orange Gillette London Bridge is made in the Shanghai Gillette factory in China for the Indonesian Market, but it seems the new Blue one is made by the Vertice factory in India for the Egyptian market.
It seems to be the second blade I know of that Gillette has sub contracted to another factory to produce under their brand, the other being the Gillette Winner Stainless.

Thanks for the info. You are right I have searched everywhere on the internet and it seems that the Blue ones are made for the Egyptian and Lebanese market only. There are two customer service numbers on the back of the package one for Egypt and the other for Lebanon - hence (EG) and (LB) on the back of the package - which means that they are sold in Lebanon too.
