Thought I'd have a go at trying to sort the handle out on this flare tip.
First thing was to mask it up. For this I'd heard a cool tip of using plumbers PTFE tape so I thought I'd give it a try. Well it worked fantastically, it's very easy to follow the contours of the razor and as it's very thin you can poke it round the corners between the TTO knob and the main handle. I then put electrical tape over the top, just to be sure. So once it was all masked up all that remained was to give it a paint.
Well it's all painted and has had a few days to thoroughly dry and all seems good, it's passed the industry standard "rubbing with my finger test", I'll give it a scrub under some hot water in a bit to check it holds up ok. So here it is in all its glory....
