It's finished!
Just thought I'd post some pics while the hones are soaking.

It's dressed in purpleheart scales and I thought the pink ivory wood wedge would complement them very well but it just reminded me of a pencil :icon_surprised:

So I thought bone maybe?
Mother of Pearl would have looked good but didn't have any.
A dark brown hardwood, the odd bits I had didn't really work.
In the end I used the dark horn off-cut from the last set of scales I made.

That's very kind of you Bechet45.
The CA finishing really is a test of patience!
When I got to about 1500 grit sanding the final coats I could see that it was going to be well worth it.
