Gem Blades

Got hold of an every ready 1912 single edge razor.

Being in the UK are connaughts the only place you can get blades to fit. Believe Gem blades are required.

There are lots of vendors on the bay selling 100 single edge blades but believe they are for industrial use, scrapers etc.
has anyone tried the industrial blades.Would they fit? can anyone offer any advice on supply of Gems

They'll take the face off you! They have no coating.

Stick with Connaughts - Hobsons Choice I know but if you look at prices in th U.S. they are pretty close.

They are different - for shaving, the blades are triple faceted, which means the actual blade edge has three different angles making it abundantly sharper than the single faceted window scrapers. Buy with confidence from Connaught's.
