The new formula is Made in Italy according to the website. Not sure by who.
I think I read somewhere the new Fine soaps are made by those who produce the Officina Artigina Milano soap.

A word of warning - my gold Lo Storto had one of the blade locating pins break off without warning, fortunately I was just tightening it up so no blood! It looked like a very poor incomplete joint.Just had a late RM delivery. Here's a bit of transatlantic enablement (and he calls me silver tongued!!):

@Bogeyman - scent of the AB reminds me of PAA CaD. I like it.
Thank you - I'll keep an eye on that. I purchased it from Connaught so I'm sure they'll be supportive should anything go wrong.A word of warning - my gold Lo Storto had one of the blade locating pins break off without warning, fortunately I was just tightening it up so no blood! Vendor replaced it, no questions asked, but it seems that manufacturing quality control may not be the best!
(BTW the new one is fine and I've had some very good shaves with it).

Likewise, I recall its vintage as more on the anise side. Personally, I find the lavender still comes through good and strong. The hydrogenated castor oil also makes for a less harsh and slightly feeding splash.Don't think I've ever used brut after shave before, but saw it in home bargains today for £2.99 so thought why not. Smells a little different to how I remember it, I seem to remember it heavier on the anise and lavender.
