Feather se in Autostrop and Gem Mmoc

Tried the MMOC with Gem blades and found them a bit dull. ATG was a nightmare.
Got some Feather se blades tried them in a Valet VC2 autostrop. Wow! What a great shave. BBS with zero irritation.

Modded the mmoc so the feather blades fit.
Shaved one side of my face with each razor.
They both shaved equally close, but the Valet felt smoother.
I'm very impressed Must get a Cobra!

Is it the end of my de shaving ?
I think not, at least not till I've used all my blades up!

I am surprised by the performance of a GEM in the MMOC.

Feathers are sharp. If you're one of those fellows who would regard a Feather in a Gillette Tech as "the" shave, the Feather in a GEM Featherweight, Pushbutton or Contour might well suit you as well. They're considered mild razors, but paired with a sharp blade ... lovely.

The GEM blades I tried tugged and were grabby ATG.
My stubble grows almost flat , I've tried a lot of razors now and only a few seem to work. Merkur slant, and now the MMOC and Valet.

Milder razors, tend to give me razor burn, as I like to feel the blade on my skin and tend to put too much pressure on them, or have to do too much polishing.
