Indeed, it also stops me getting drawn into any bidding war and paying more than I want, I set the snipe and walk away and wait for the email telling m if I have won of lost. Again max bid wins (usually). Once I did have the highest bid but did not win, the software was unable to reach eBay servers so my bid was not placed but this is very rare so if the item really matters to you place it manually; but there is no ethical issue with the software.

Tried a few and found baygenie to be the easiest and best to use...Im out most of the day so comes in usefull for me.If you want to try it drop me a pm and ill tell you more.
