constant re lathering..ideas?

If I used a mug I'd maybe try a double skinned metal travel mug which functions much the same as a vacuum flask. Outside doesn't warm up, liquid inside stays much the same temp as it went in at for quite a while.

I tried that with a metal Thermos camping mug but it needs to be constantly refilled with hot water to keep the inside warm.
At the moment I am using a conventional Cappucino/hot chocolate mug that I bought from a local supermarket as part of a "Chocolate lovers" set (mug and tin of hot chocolate wrapped in cellophane).
Works well enough, although the large wide design & big handle make it look like an Elves chamber pot.

Easy use MWF likes cool water so need for scuttle. Job done. :hungrig

+1 to that, my first use with MWF was in a scuttle and a disaster, MWF does not respond well to heat.
