Guys,

This is a car wax. Nothing to do with shaving ... or waxing (personal areas), but waxing your car.

I have a pot of Swissvax Shield that I find surplus to my requirements. I would not normally sway outside of shaving swaps and trades here, but this is a pretty special wax and I think there are a few folks here who like to look after their cars.

Pause for breath folks ...

It's £130 a pot, new!

Mine is a current issue pot, something like 80% full as a conservative estimate and I'd be looking for something like £80 which would include special delivery.

What is it?

... actually, the pot on the website is the old pot. Here's mine, and the present issue pot:

Yes, it comes in a special bag which is included.

I'd be interested in a swap for something fly ...

Ever Ready Streamline
GEM Jewel

... you get my drift. Or, cash.

Shiny! Shiny!

RE: FS/T: Swissvax Shield

Cheers, chaps!

Fox - with a little research, you'll find formulation is fairly simple. Getting something that applies and removes with absolute ease, beads up like a beauty but doesn't overly dusy when that water dries off and looks good, smells good (seems more important than performance amongst Detailing circles) and has a funky label is the challenge. But yes, from a ground zero operation profits are potentially massive ... once you've recouped R&D outlay.

Thanks missingskin - actually, you've just missed your chance with that one. I sold it about a month, or so, ago.

... more Classic SAAB porn :D

... my old 'Orca'.

So, who's interested in the wax?

Got a spare Streamline in good nick? It's yours for the asking ... don't look at the price.

With that you've almost convinced me - I just need to buy a car worth waxing!

Gorgeous SAABs by the way, and I hope you get a buyer soon.

No, SAAB is now independent of GM and producing on a small scale for niche markets.

Tony Spurs - I have a 'New Standard' which I believe is a Bostonian-alike. I really had my heart on a Streamline, but let's talk. PM incoming.

Swapped! Many thanks to swapper and TSR.
