Thanks P.For me ......... yes!

I do, Paul. The only time I use warm water is when I'm rinsing my brush and razor post-shave. Initially, I thought that I'd be missing out; what with warm water maybe releasing more fragrance of the soap than cold; but not a bit of it. It could be coincidence; better technique etc., but I can honed say I've had no irritation at all since the cold water routine. Excellent post-shave feel too.Do you cold water shavers soak your brush in cold water and knock up your lather with cold water also? P.

Nice one Steven, I may give it another go, do you have a cold water wash or shower before your shave or is that still done with warm water. P.I do, Paul. I always have my morning shower before my shave (super warm) would this still work? P.And another one here the same as @Scotshave The whole shave bar the clean up.
It seems to fly in the face of usual conventional shaving but I do find the end benefits so rewarding I can't think of any reason to go back to hot water.
I really think the likes of @dave79 who I know suffers from post shave issues and irritation might find cold water shaving beneficial. Try it is all I can say.
Similar to me.....then I prewash my face with glycerine soap and cold water and just carry on with the cold water shave. To be honest at the moment I find cold water from the tap to be almost too warm!I always have my morning shower before my shave (super warm) would this still work? P.
