Chinese New Year

A couple of notes from the kids school yesterday.

Along with the usual head lice alert was the Chinese New Year special lunch menu.

"There will be a Chinese menu on Thursday 3rd Feb to celebrate Chinese New Year. There will be Beef Curry, Chicken Curry, Lemon Chicken, Chow Mein, Chilli Beef, Sweet and Sour, Noodles and Prawn Crackers. THERE WILL BE NO FISH AND CHIPS ON THIS DAY"

I am not going to tell my children what is on your children's menu as they would be quite jealous as they quite like Chinese food!

Shame their mother doesn't though

However, at least I now have some other people to share my Chinese takeaways with and I am sure that my youngest will like it as well because she already has a taste for prawn crackers.
