Around Chicago the fruit season's in full swing. Only thing still to be coming is the better watermelon....the real sweet and crispy and juicy kind. Couple more weeks yet I think.
You guys have a cherry season? Are those trees grown in quantity anywhere around?
Doesn't matter if not.........you poor bastards. Hey, do some of you know what a cherry looks like? Pretty exotic stuff.
So the Rainier cherry season must be peaking about now. Those are the beautiful pinkish red with yellow blush colored ones. Cross between a Bing and another kind.
Usually they will command top dollar
