Butterfly razor

Hello all just wanted to share this to see what people think it's from what i could find out on the net a French butterfly razor.Two razors in one. maybe the first multi bladed shaving system:blush:
Any way it went over my humble bid sold for about £42
would imagine that would be some odd bit of kit to shave with .any body know any more on the history.

I would have loved to have got it but i suspect the cost of restoring it would have out weighed its usefull ness. lets hope its gone to a good home

I've seen other roughly the same, not many though. The blades looks lovely, but I don't know if it would be so pratical or good balance with such a razor ...
