It's their porno pose :D

My wife is a CPN and took these two sisters from a house where the patient was coping very well. They were infested with fleas and needed some help feeding as they were only about 4 weeks old. They have came on a treat since then.

You've got to love mogs!

Thankfully that is not true. I despise them with a passion and that's before they're shitting in my borders and killing off the birdlife.

Best thing we ever did was getting a rescue greyhound. Now he can make them shift...

Come on HM, I don't notice cat lovers popping up in any of the many dog appreciation threads putting posts like this.

If we're posting generalisations what about lazy dog owners leaving crap on the pavement or thoughtfully bagged up in hedges or dogs attacking sheep.

Let me just state I love both cats and dogs, so won't be popping in to derail threads like this about either animal.

Indeed - I despise those too - and since the offending mutt is usually (poorly) supervised I will (and have) challenge the owner. I've gone as far as picking up their shit and dropping it unbagged on their doorstep (possibly accidentally smearing it to maximum extent).

"Are you going to fling that in my garden?"
"Nope, I'll be putting it through your letterbox - like a good citizen, I would just be returning your property that you appear to have accidentally left behind"

That did make me chuckle.

We provide litter trays for both our mogs, and they have bells on their collars to alert any wildlife to their presence.

Difficult to kill anything when a constant tinkling signals your presence.

Considerate owners of any animal make life much more pleasant.

We're in the countryside and we keep the cat in order to keep rodents at bay.

She absolutely useless for the most part, the odd pygmy shrew or dissected mouse on the doorstep, but just having her scent around the place and that of her male admirers ensures that we don't have any rats near the premises.

Do little girls ever shut their mouths on a sunny afternoon in the garden? The one next door has been at it non-stop for a couple of hours, just drivel, noises and attention seeking. I find it very annoying as there would otherwise be the total silence this neighbourhood usually enjoys. My cats are seriously upset because they want their afternoon sleep to be in the sunshine.

The parents are out there with the children, just ignoring them. And you want responsible animal owners? Well, so do I but what hope? Take the kids to the park - Southampton Common is a five minute walk away, entertain them, give them some attention - but mainly, shut her the fuck up!

Working from home today, I just noticed a female blackbird land about 15 feet away from our cat. The cat gave it a look, a then took off and is now roaring outside the door to come in and be fed. As a predator, she's absolutely useless.

Very good, I'm sure our two would be the same. They sometimes go out for a little wander in the back door but come flying in if the wind blows on their faces!

Boris, one of our fantastic Siberians. Still quite rare in the Uk.
