best for homework: netbook or tablet?

Tablets are great if you already have a proper desktop/laptop. That doesn't seem to be the case so I vote for the netbook. Doing homework using a touchscreen keyboard can get frustrating/tedious really fast.

Netbook for homework, our Gert uses a iPad for lots of her work on Twitter and so on but she reaches for a lappie as soon as she needs to do any writing whether it's blogging or writing up presentations.
