It was a prototype of a hard soap from Wickham's during the Super Smooth years. I think he dropped a few scents into small samples and passed them around. I was given Garden Mint (possibly because I was a bit of a menth-head at the time).
Well, I found the sample I was given. It's very dried out, but you know what? It lathered up lovely with a dizzy blonde boar brush for a quick test lather. I think I'll put it on the slate for SOTD shortly.
Who else got one? What flavour did you get?
What was the outcome? I assume it was some ideas and a direction that ultimately culminated in the soap we know and love as 1912.
