this is the guy on the 'bay who sells the Gillette Super Thins but have a look at the handle he has for holding the blades in the bottom photo

anyone got anymore info?
i e-mailed him to see if the were easily had locally but he still hasn't replied
looks like it's styled to be like a Japanese straight
 
I've seen that before and I did wonder myself... I thought it looked like something a barber might tidy sideburns with, like a shavette.

Huyn's the fella - but take a look at his auctions in Euro... same blades, he always used to list for the same numeric price in Euro as in Pounds...

I think there is an Italian made shavette type thing which could be similar.
