Am I going mad!!! Beard content.

Well this is strange.
I married a guinea pig!!
Now that would be strange. I like guinea pigs BTW...
What is strange is that since wet shaving with a de my beard seems to be
1. Growing tougher more raspy like
2. Growing more!! I seem to have more growth each morning!!
Now this seems improbable doesn't it?
Perhaps I'm simply taking off less than with my old Mach 3.
Maybe the alumnblock is altering my perception....
Face is having 2 days off now as I'm new to give it a break.

You can often hear quite a loud raspy noise when you DE shave which you don't get with cartridges. Some blades are noisier than others, some can be very quiet. Try another blade if the noise is a bit much.

I reckon you're probably not taking off as much hair as you were used to. That'll improve and you'll be getting much closer shaves in a few weeks, just take your time.

One of Mantic's tips for new shavers is beard reduction with each pass, not elimination. That made a lot of sense to me.
