another couple of classic Gillettes. I wanted to try the superspeed but the tech would make a nice little travel razor too. I don't need five techs though. aluminium base plate and handle. it's almost worn away but if the light hits the cap right, you can just see it had the minimalist style logo without the diamond round it. no date code but with this handle it could be 60s?

interested in how they both shave.


also some avon wild country in a ship on a bottle which looks great on the shelf and I love the smell.

I really need to uninstall the eBay app...

One can never have enough ... that said, my "cock and balls bottle" is almost spent. The later incarnations I have don't quite have the same urinal backwash that this legend has.

Postman delivered these today from Maggard Razors. Great service and the postal fee was more than reasonable, unlike Blacklands fees.

I would absolutely love to try the original Silkashave soap. I have seen one of the bakelite pots with a full puck but they wanted really silly money for it. If I could even land on a well used one, but reckon anyone finding a manky mostly used soap in a vintage dish would likely scrape it out and sell the pot as a clean and distinct item.

Really nice catch, that ... again, get it full of Mitchell's!
