Got my first true straight. A Taylor Eye Witness from the good ole ebay! Sent of to UKRob for a hone and pivot pin tighten. It's a 6/8" blade and should be a good workhorse. About £50 including purchase and hone. Plus a strop from Westholme strops for £40 and I should be able to post my first SOTD with a true straight in about a week.
I have an interest in a couple of nice looking razors on the Revisor site depending on availability from their rarities selection.
Until then I'm continuing with my Dovo shavette that is ok, but I'm having to change the blade after nearly every shave now. I think I am doing ok with only one or two minor nicks with every shave.
