A few friends I would like you to meet?

These are a few photographs I took a few years back in my home town in South Wales, they were a group of Gypsy people who lived on the outskirts of my town, the first photograph is actually of a elderly lady who's name is Annie, I thought I would put them up on this site because they look as though they desperately need a good DE shave, What do you think, hope you enjoy them.

Regards Jamie.

Nice photos Jamie! There's a lot of character and life experience in their faces.

Thanks, Chrisbell, yes as you say a lot of character in those faces, took those photo's during the the early 1990s, they have all sadly passed away since, quite a harmless bunch of people though, there were many more of various ages, most people I knew were scared of them, but once you got to know them you soon realised they were quite harmless, anyway, I haver never been shy with a camera in my hand, Thanks again.

Jamie.

I absolutely love the last one. I'm a keen photographer myself and its always a pleasure to see an image that is not only superbly evocative but also incredibly well shot. That last image is a triumph in both regards.

Was just viewing your whole album, while listening to ray lamontagne's new album... somehow the two came together to create an audio/visual experience that was quite moving!

I would like to thank you all for your very kind and generous comments, and would say that of the one or two forums I belong to this is by far the most friendly people I have come across. You can find a link below to some of my Landscapes and more portraits.

Very kind regards Jamie.

I've come back to look at these a few times since you posted them. Great pictures.

Thanks Damien, I was in your beautful city of Galway a few years back with my wife, we toured around the south and the west coast of Ireland, I remember we spent the night on a farm on the outskirts of Galway, I suppose you are a Connacht supporter, if so you must be gutted one of your top young players is leaving Mr Ian Keatley.

Regards Jamie
