Yeah you need to be careful with wedges eh lol I have sliced myself once with a wedge.I had just got it shave ready & giving it a test run.It got me on the second pass atg chin area lol.A nice clean line.The razor was a three shilling near smiler with barbers notch.IMO thats the way to go, I also found if I managed to cut(not nick) myself, STOP. The 2 times I ignored this advice and carried on I managed to slice and dice myself like Gordon Ramsey on acid. The advice was if you cut yourself put the straight away till tomorrow, or next planned straight shave. Obviously if the cuts bad enough the razors sidelined for a week or so anyway. I've only done this once, and that was because I got cocky with an old wedge with a seriously spiked toe(it isn't now)
