1912, With a Difference!

Greetings
It looks wonderfully plated, just superb, but on the wrong razor. I realise that you probably simply choose something you had for a trial run and you have, it appears, succeeded 100%. It really does not matter to anybody other than old fools like me but I believe Ever Ready (not GEM) never made a gold (gilt) plated 1912, they did however make a gilded 1924. It detracts nothing from your superb work!

Regards
Dick.

Thanks for the replies guys, I thought it might divide opinion! I'm not sure what I think of it to be fair! I'll pop it in the Etsy shop and see what happens I think :) ...........although crystals......now there's a thought!!

A question about your gold plate if ya don't mind mate. How does it look like it'll last as in longevity? I read somewhere that brass isn't the best material to plate with gold hence the vintage razors were all a bit naff. Another line of thought is they were just cheaply and badly done. What say ya?
