Looking forward to one tube of kapo (karo) shaving cream ordered on the GB Bay.
I got Proraso white, red and green pre-post shave creams and white cream is dryer then the other ones. I don't want to sound stupid but how dry it is? I always apply them on the wet face washed by warm water and the water on my face makes the cream spread easier, also when I pick the cream from the jar to apply on my face some of it falls in the sink so the white cream is dryer and more difficult to apply then the red and green.Following some disappointment with a jar of Proraso 'white' pre-shave cream, which arrived dry and only got worse, I've got some Truefitt & Hill pre-shave oil. Anyone have any opinions?
Cheers - that makes sense. I used to use the green Proraso pre-shave cream, but i found that the scent overpowered most of my soaps and creams, hence my decision to switch to the white.I got Proraso white, red and green pre-post shave creams and white cream is dryer then the other ones. I hope I managed to explain and makes sense.
That was the exact reason for me as well to try the white cream, however the consistency of it is different from the green.Cheers - that makes sense. Thanks.Completely agree with you and @Sezer1974 on the white pre shave.
I have tried a few pre shave oils and the Truefitt is one of the better ones, it certainly makes less mess than something like the ToBs stuff. Somersets and Zirh are quite good too. All that said I only seem to use the Proraso pre shaves these days, I must try the oils again.
Congratulations! These are rapidly turning into my favourite blade.100 Gillette Silver Blues' on the way. Happy days!
