Not the best three pass shave, got a small nick above my top lip.
Despite the slickness of the shave oil, and going gentle, I'm still getting razor burn/rash on my neck. I even got it when using cartridge razors on and off over the last. few years.
I think the skin on my neck has got more sensitive with age.
I have a permanently red neck, not the best look !

Perhaps you may want to try a more aggressive razor, a sharper blade, a tallow soap.I think it's mostly caused by my doing passes across and against the grain to achieve a closer shave.
The beard growth is in several different directions on my neck.
If I try to only go with the grain the result is as if I haven't shaved it at all.
I've only had this problem for the last few years.

Good luck...
Thanks
I'll go with the Futur (set quite low) and Mitchell's Wool Fat for my next few shaves.
I tried a Feather blade in the Futur for the first time last week and my whole face and neck were stinging.
I've got some black Treet blades coming so I'll try those or an Astra SP
