I've kept an R89, a 39c, and a PAL Injecto-Matic. That's all I need. Everything else was superfluous.
Then you don't need it.
Well, he doesn't seem to want it (anymore) either.Need and want are very different beasts
I am not so sure. They seem to be learning from Microsoft. Get the product announced, get the market geared up, and then drizzle the product out one bug-fix at a time.
I am not so sure.
I appreciate that YMMV, for me the R96 delivers one of the best shaves I have ever experienced. I may have been lucky, the R96 I managed to get my hands on is in perfect condition, no flaws. I hear that Muhle had problems with the R96JET, which they have now resolved and production is behind schedule. As for the R95 and R96, stock availability appears to be the main issue - Muhle possibly rushed to get these razors out and the lack of supplies have left many frustrated and disappointed.
Once these supply problems have been resolved, in my view the Rocca will be one of the classic go to razors. I feel that they have designed and produced a great razor, which will have a very long shelf life.
Muhle strike me as a company dedicated to quality - I guess that they are pissed off at the moment, with their inability to meet customer demand. The market place is quite crowded and people can go for alternative stainless steel razors. There is not much scope for pissing off the market place for DE razors. On the other hand, Microsoft have more scope to drip fed their products.
They have just had some Birch handled Rocca's on the Muhle site but now out of stock.Anyone received an email from Muhle about new stock of the Rocca razors today?

Thanks for the info, much appreciated.
The Gentleman's Groom Room has some in stock, but you have to phone or email them. I manged to order a Birch one yesterday.I had an email from Shave Lounge about this being in stock, which was timed at 0500 today, 17th September, and which I read at about 0530. By the time I'd woken up properly, and investigated it, the things were Out of Stock already.
Assuming it's eventually possible, I will probably buy the model with the black handle, as I'm not too keen on the birchwood version.
Thanks; I'll give them a whirl. Oddly enough, I'm just putting a blade in my Digress. The Gentleman's Groom Room has some in stock, but you have to phone or email them. I manged to order a Birch one yesterday.
