Variant #3.5
Feather Hi-Stainless #1
Midas Synthetic
Cella

Thought I'd have a quick spruce-up over my lunch break, seeing as it's my birthday! Unfortunately, not one of my best shaves but perhaps one of my closest. Managed to lapse slightly in concentration and go purely ATG at the base of my neck, resulting in 3 perfectly-spaced weepers, which quickly stopped. Anything goes except ATG I've found, probably as my hair lies so flat there!

2 passes and I was done, with little issue otherwise. Feeling a tad raw in places but nothing major. Not sure I really get on with these Feathers... I think I'm more accustomed to blunter, smoother blades but life goes on!

Hoping you all have a great day! :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEN !!

Wishing you many happy returns

Pre: Warm water face wash
Brush: EJ Medium PB
Soap: Wickhams Irish Fern
Razor: Gillette Slim H1 (7)
Blade: Perma-Sharp
Post: Warm then cold water rinse, Boots Freshwood ASBView attachment 30706

A very enjoyable 2 pass shave and skin's feeling great, thanks to Boots Freshwood, my favourite budget post shave product.

K - nice kit and nice shave. You didn't say just how smooth it was? Vaquita smooth? I thought that you would have 'risen to the bait' with that reference last night? Ha ha - yours - I.

Wild West Soap Co ‘Outlaw'
Antica Barbieria Colla Boar
Delta Echo Fatboy (7)
Nacet (1)
Acqua Di Parma Collezione Barbiere Balm
Acqua Di Parma Leather Cologne Concentrée

When I received the WWSC soaps the other day I must have been having a ‘moment' when I thought to myself they didn't smell too bad.
It was the first use of one this morning and my first thought on opening the tub of Outlaw was ‘synthetic'. So I took to the other tubs to have a sniff. Now I wasn't expecting some olfactory orgasm from a $6.99 soap and it's an amatuer start up so I can cut the man some slack.
Performance, bang average, (that's) the best I can say. It's not bad and it gets the job done without drama. It's just another ‘also ran' in this increasingly over saturated market.
I'd stick one in the cart if part of an order at somewhere like Maggards with cheap shipping but I wouldn't go out of my way to order.

SOTN

Razor
Feather as d2

Blade
Gillette Silver Blue

Brush wolf whiskers 25mm black wolf fan

Soap
Wholly Kaw Monaco Royale

Post shave
Thayers Lemon
Old spice P&G

This evenings shave was really enjoyable the blade wasn't the best because of the glue I keep getting on the Gillette Silver Blues but the soap was fantastic as requested I'm tagging @Jel999 wonderful slick cushiony lather, the scents where very kind to my skin...I'm not the best at describing scents but to my nose it had something similar to an old spice or maybe an insense ive smelt before but was certainly very enjoyable but I do prefer the Fern Concerto Menthol, great post Shave feel. Finished off with the Old Spice don't know if it's the weather or what but on an evening I just seem to keep reaching for the Old Spice although I'm not short of aftershave splashes to choose from. Feel great, smell great ready to relax for the night !

Evening Shave.

BBA Face Wash.
SV Manna di Sicilia.
SOC Cherry Boar.
Little Wren Pottery.
Ever Ready 1914.
Gem (2).
OSP Neroli Aftershave Tonic.
BBA Post Shave Balm.

I have no idea why it has taken me so long to buy a Saponifico Varesino soap, and there's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said. Superb performance. The 1914 (on loan from the mighty @Boru62) made short work of a days worth of stubble. Two and a bit passes for BB smooth. Quite an assertive little bugger isn't it? Have a good evening chaps. Especially our Northern Irish members.

Mighty? Haha.
I find it efficient rather than aggressive. Have you tried it shimmed yet?
