Shave of the day, Saturday 8th- Friday 14th April 2017

Thur 13th April
RazoRock Syn. 24mm
Tabac stick
Colonial Brass General
Schick Proline P-20
Alum Rub/Rinse off
Tabac A/S Lotion

After my first shave with the Brass General the reduced amount of regrowth was quite noticeable. The Razor/blade-combo is very efficient, and is ideal for people like myself with a heavy beard growth. Not too sure it would be a good daily choice for those with light beards and sensitive skin.

My second Shave with The General was as yesterdays, smooth comfortable and ultra close. I may try out a Feather Pro blade to see how they go, as they are a bit cheaper than the Schick. Have to pass this Razor on but mine has been shipped today.

I haven't been feeling too well (man flu), so I thought I'd have a extreme hit of menthol to wake me up and open up the airways.

Great performance, smooth and no irritation.

It's amazing how a good shave can make you feel better :)

Pre shave: Nivea men exfoliating face scrub > Proraso menthol & eucalyptus pre shave cream

Muhle R41 with a Astra SP (3)

Chiseled Face Cryogen bowl lathered with the Razorock 400 brush

Cold water rinse between passes

Post shave: Cold water rinse > Fine Snake Bite > Thayers cucumber witch hazel > Proraso green after shave balm

Exec Shaving pre
Mervyn's Finest Chubby
SV Felce Aromatica LE
ATT S2
Alum
Extro Bay Rum

....And the Hits just keep on coming!
The Felce Aromatica is just gorgeous, fabulous scent all the way through the shave, great lather, excellent glide.
Three passes,... minimal pick-ups,...a bit of post-shave burn but I'll put that down to trying to squeeze another shave out of the blade,...lesson learned, blades are cheap!
Creedence on the turntable,......ain't it great to be alive!

Brush: Omega 20102
Razor: Gillette Rocket HD w/ Rapira Super Stainless (3)
Soap: Phoenix and Beau Solaris
Post: Thayers Rose Witch Hazel & Alcolado Glacial

A great shave today, my favourite P&B soap, love this fragrance and hope to burn through it so I can get a new one to try a 10 week cured soap. The Rocket is quick becoming a favourite razor and worked well with the Rapira. Haven't used Alcolado in a while, very refreshing and certainly wakes you up!

First shave with the Enders Speed and Personna Injector. I should have used a fresh blade to be fair, but even with a few laps the Enders comported itself well. Not as smooth as I'd like ATG but that's likely a combination of blade wear and perhaps some fine tuning needed in blade exposure. Still a three pass BBS shave.

The injector blade sits snuggly in the tray without modification, but without blade stops has a range of exposure determined by its precise placement. A stock Enders blade with its edge removed locks in place on top of the Injector securing it. These razors are dirt cheap, in colors to match every outfit, and are well worth tinkering with!

It could only smell better - nobody in their right mind would launch a grooming product that was an accurate scent. They smell damp because they are not permanently occupied. There is a nice habit of leaving surplus food for the next person - but this is hung from the rafters so the rats/mice don't get to it. I can count on the fingers of one offensive gesture the number I have been in that had any sort of combustible material locally. They tend to exist in barren landscapes. Those few that do have something to burn around them - you will need to carry a folding saw and pack axe to harvest it. Not quite - 'The fragrance captures the scent of a welcoming Highland Bothy's peat open fire." That being said - bothies are a great resource in Scotland - looked after by the SMBA. A roof over your head in appalling weather is worth a lot. Off and back on topic I hope. I
@Digimonkey and @Blademonkey - you guys can keep going off topic anytime if it is that interesting - great stuff.:)

Razor: Gillette Black Beauty (R-2) 1971
Blade: Personna 74 Tungsten Plus (12)
Brush: El Druida Barberpole w/Manchurian
Soap: Eufros Brisa da Oriente
Aftershave: Stirling Executive Man Balm.

Very successful 3 passes with a minor touch up for a near BBS. The Eufros soap performs better each time I use it. I very much like the Stirling Executive Man Balm.
