Shave of the day, Saturday 8th- Friday 14th April 2017

No shit - I admire your relaxed attitude to bears. That would terrify me - to be honest. That's a half a ton of highly intelligent, omnivorous flesh. Do you carry a rifle? A well aimed sand-wedge isn't going to provide much protection? I guess you get used to it if you live there? As you say - don't f**k with the cubs. I
Don't carry a rife. Don't look at them and don't make eye contact.

Razor: Muhle 37C.

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Lavender oil & Witch Hazel Mixture./Tabac A/S.

Boots-Freshwood A/S Balm.

Greetings,
After a while with wet shaving you buy shaving products that perform with excellence, my choice of today's soap-A/S duo is some of those products..in fact if i had to pick a "desert island shaving set up" my set up for today, would be a very strong contender..I consider Tabac soap to be one of the best mass produced soaps on offer, it's performance, slickness & protection post-shave feeling is amazing.i'll always have it in my shaving den, however it's classed as a "old School product", and won't be suited to everyone's tastes..but i would advise anyone who has yet to try this amazing soap, and have always been curious to do so, give it a try..you won't be dissapointed at all..Superb stuff!!!;)

A very efficient 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report..i have to say, the Gillette ws "Saloon Pack" blades have been incredibly sharp and smooth this week, for a freebie, they are excellent..a brilliant duo with my very efficient 37C of which i'm starting to love shaving with...My face is feeling fresh super smooth, and smelling of the classic fragrance of Tabac.
Enjoy your day,ladies & gentlemen.

Razor...General, brass
Blade...Feather pro #1
Soap...highland Bothy
Brush...Semouge 2000
Post...Thayers lavender
Edt...Burberry..Touch

First shave with this razor and it was good. Close and smooth and great heat retention from the brass, a keeper.
The highland bothy gave a great lather and was protective enough with a great scent.

Have a great day people......:)

Thursday Morning;

Holley MFG Co.
P&B Citra Royale.
Razorock Synth.
Wickham's Citrus Musk a/s.

It was another 'lapse-in-technique' day, I feel. Throughout the shave I felt confident, like things were going well. I had plenty of stubble removed by this silent assassin of a razor, though still feel relatively stubbly post-shave. Washing afterwards was a-okay, as I can normally tell when I've overdone it at this point. Dabbed on a bit of Boots witch hazel, rinsed off... everything still in order... sploshed on a bit of Wickham's Citrus Musk and boy-oh-boy. I didn't sting, per se, but burned. It was a deep, hot burn. I've chucked on the Citrus Musk without shaving before with no issue, so it's not an adverse reaction. My neck turned a lovely pink-red, which has since settled down somewhat. I think I'll save the near-wedge for those days where I've not shaved for 4 or 5 days. The lightness of the 1/2- and full-hollows I own make for a much more delicate shave. I can see precisely why people would tend towards a wedge, but I'll be cautious of this one for the meanwhile.

All in all, however, I smell great and I'm not particularly uncomfortable, just a bit messy in places!

ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND ,
Lakeland Terriers are gorgeous little dogs! One did particularly well on Crufts this year, too. Have a great few days away, sir!

Thursday's shave.

Pre-shave - Warm shower, Wright's Coal Tar Soap and Village Barbour Shave Oil.
Razor - Hone 15.
Blade - Gillette 7 O'Clock Yellow (day 3).
Soap - Executive Shaving - Bay Rum Shave Cream.
Brush - Simpsons Chubby 2 - Best Badger.
Post shave - OSP Eucalyptus and Menthol Splash followed by L'Occtitane Cedrat After Shave Cream Gel.

No idea why - best shave of the week. 2 passes, no issues, skin feels soft and fresh.
