Active Pass Around: Fatboy

Final shave before posting off to the next lucky recipient.

As a piece of kit it is very good and lovely feel in the hand, the knurling and handle are in fact very good. The angle is quite intuitive and the cutting is audible when on the higher numbers.

I loved the clunk and click of the mechanism when changing the setting, very military like. The TTO design is very easy and the blade can be aligned well although the tabs do sit a little proud so watch out for that. Whether this head is any better than some is in the user I suppose? I never got great shaves from a previous TTO design head?

Arrived safe and well this afternoon, got a weeks worth of stubble for it to go at first time out. Thanks dodgy for the chance to try it and thanks whosthedaddy for the samples too :) can't wait to try it
 
Last shave with this last night, really sad to say that I didnt get on with it. sorry dodgy. Probably bad technique but I couldn't get it quite right I do like the noise it makes, but I either got to close or not close enough.
Whos next on the list?

Oh well, the Fatboy ain't for everyone. One less monkey to deal with though.

Looks like Burgundy is next in line.
 
Hiya,

When i talked to Burgundy recently he mentioned shipping the razor along by Friday so hopefully she's on the way to Dan.
