Hey I'm not knocking anyone for trying lol, I'm the bloke that would rather spend £25 on Club de Nuit intense than £300 on Aventus...I'm all for finding a damn good substitute :p.

I love Club de Nuit intense and because it had some of the experts fooled that's good enough for me..
£25 all day long :)

Very nice Wayne. If I may give a little advise? Just be careful with the strop, make sure the razor has fully flipped over before starting your pass in the opposite direction as it is really easy to get carried away and dig in with the blade and ruin the strop. Voice of experience there mate.

Soluna razor made who knows when in czechoslovakia with a small brush and soap.

I will take that on board.

I am totally oblivious as to how to use the strop. It is in perfect condition (at the moment) but will try my utmost to insure it remains that way.

Ah, now I can see the back it appears to be later 49> I was hoping to see really large drain hole's and the dark case made it hard to see if I could see through the comb or not yesterday.
It's still a very nice razor, the case is unusual, maybe that's a 30s case but I couldn't swear on it. I don't know enough about them only the basic stuff.
It's a fab razor Wayne, shave with pride.

I'm happy to take the blame with this one mate, it is a beautiful vintage SE razor and it will give you year's of joy shaving with it. Good night mate.
