Which makes it even better/cooler/something in my eyes, at least.Thank you sir! It's the first I've seen like this, and I doubt many are still around. It was war production stuff, and they didn't care if it wasn't perfect.

I mean I’m ok with words but poor old hobo @Mike Smart needs pictures. He’s got a lovely collection of sticker books with little green men in them. He thinks it’s about football but they’re really aliens. Bless…I got the hair out ok and will re-use it, and the imperfections will remain intact. The finish came off easily with acetone. Pix tomorrow of the progress.
So that's what Mike does for a living. He's been out in Brazil as the mean green sicario, kidnapping and torturing by making people watch videos of the Hobos running around a park with a ball. Brilliant GIF, mate.
The hair pulled right out, didn't have a glue base. (didn't think it would)

Just had a string tied around the base.

Didn't measure it, gonna put the old one back in, I have epoxied the bottom to keep it together, and will glue it in.Very nice.
What diameter is the base and what knot do you plan to use as a replacement?
you have my address so you know where to send it, right? LOLAs received.
Taken apart.
