I saw these on the Flea-bay and thought I would get 1 to use the stand for my Straight razors, £9.99 each.
Hold on, buy 2 for 9.98? No brainer.
Wasn't expecting much, but hey, they're not bad.
The stands are coated alloy of some sort, they take a Straight no bother. 1 razor handle is also coated alloy, the other handle is bamboo. Plus 10 blades per razor for under a Tenner.
I think a canny bargain. Will give them a run out soon.
Seller = orobiker.

How's it going Tony? How was your trip to the dentist yesterday? I hope it was ok my friend.

Is there any chance of posting up a picture of the back of the Starke blades? I think they are Indian made right, I'd be intrigued to which factory they are made in.

Thanks Tony!

@pjgh have you seen these blades before?
The Stärke? Yeah, German company getting an own label from India.

The Premium is their regular stainless offering.

Some musings about their other offerings ... but Platinum Chrome is not one you see often from sub-continent blades and I think I followed some dubious breadcrumbs and came up with the idea that the Statum Platinum Chrome is (now) the same blade as the Ultra.

Some credence when you look at the yellow/black colouring of the Ultra packaging:

The different blades are not necessarily from the same Indian producer.

Since this new(er) crop of subcontinent blades seem to be meeting SuperMax as their benchmark for both Stainless and Super Platinum, I'm sure you've got a good pack there @Tony'schin and won't be disappointed.

Aside from Super Max and the Indian Gillettes there is a bit of a mystery to a lot of their offerings.

It's good to see new blades released though.

Yes it's a very random store. Although I do go in looking for Ben Sherman shirts and the like, and might browse the soaps and splashes while I'm in, so it does kinda work. Got a pair of Serengeti sunglasses in there once for half what they are on the web generally, although probably a discontinued model, they're my favourite sunnies. But yeah, mostly random shite. Especially the weird selection of pseudo-artisanal food items.

200 Personna Platinum Chome, a 26mm Titanium fan knot from AP Shave, 250ml Bronnley English Fern cologne, 3 tubes of Peek polish. The aforementioned Tabac stick in ShiteeMax and 50ml Tabac AS from failbay at £6 delivered. A minor foray into Tabac which I’ll probably regret. Shortly, I’ll be closing my fleabay account in utter disgust. Where is the sense in banning razors blades whilst you sell all manner of straight razors, axes, choppers and slashers? Arseholes.
