Blades no longer on sale at eBay

I wonder how this will impact cut-throat razors ... you know "straights". Curious they've always been allowed when kitchen knives and other killing knives have not been. Presumably vintage? Wilkinson Sword (ceremonial) swords still listed, which I guarentee you will run a human through!

Amazon UK still got blades

Which forum?

If you see the quote it was from B&B

But it was this one

My historical eBay purchases (of blades) no longer resolve ... Error (we looked everywhere ... even behind the fridge!) yet historical purchases of other frivolous items like stylish cat iphone case or a shaving brush still resolve.

I made a trial item to sell on eBay and they let me put together a listing for a pack of double edge razor blades.

This is weird.

Maybe double edge razor blades have never actually been a thing ... in this multiverse which we've just been switched to. Give it a few hazy hours or an overnighter that feels like a heavy night on the booze and we'll all be looking at our Techs and Milords and Roccas in the morning, wondering what the heck we used to do with them.

Nice collection ... f***cked if I know what they're for!

This seller was / is on eBay. May be handy to bookmark there site. I can't remember their user name.
I had a mild panic there, I was on ebay the other day looking to replace some blades, went to do it today and *poof* gone, didn't realise bigdealsmart had their own site, thank you!

Amazon had already implemented needing to see ID before delivering. The last couple of times I had blades delivered, they had to re-attempt delivery when I was in, even if they would have fit through the letterbox. That was for items sold and dispatched by Amazon, not third party sellers though.
It has been possible to buy things like kitchen knives from Amazon but not ebay for years
Guess it's time to choose a blade to buy in bulk. Maybe Nacets from Jordan or BIC chrome platinums from Amazon UK. or maybe both.

Nacets from Big Deal’s Mart website… ;)

This must be a thing that is going to be a pita for commercial sellers. I can see Connaught doing well with the selection packs for people who don't fancy a lifetime supply of one blade. Either that or straight razors are about to take off.

I sent them a message that a few things from their eBay are not on their website, they then updated them.

Problem is......a lot of blades will just disappear. I like Treets and Indian Blades....most of which are not available from normal retailers

Loads of esoteric blades will go, some great ones like the Lancet, and so on. Lesser known Treet blades have gone, it's not possible to buy the 7 Days blade now. A few days ago it was a card for a tenner.
