Final try with an A&E soap and it went well. I didn't have the same reaction with the Spartacus that I had with the other two. This one will remain in the den.

I've also enjoyed the run with the Hawk V3 - this razor is definitely a keeper.

New razor, Gold Dollar W59 performed very very well, The new scent for me, Signature Glycerine and Eucalyptus with lavender soap,also performed very very well, I really like the Glyc soap. A medium size Bluebeards badger brush and Portus balm to finish.No Ducks Were Harmed During the Shave and the 5 were returned safely to their normal site...on top of the Box View attachment 54361

Nice lather with nice scent. Nice soft brush with backbone too. A pleasure to use. Shave with razor and blade was both mild and safe. 3 multiple passes without trying to chase BBS. No irritations nor weepers. DFS to CCF results.
Ice water rinse feels great followed by Thayers & MacaRoot.

After yesterdays really close and comfortable shave with the OC Blackbird there was not a lot to remove today.
2 Passes with the wonderfully smooth General V2, 1st WTG then a Mixed ATG & XTG pass leaving me BBS and very comfortable.
A nice post shave starting with a cold water splash and finishing with the Proraso Green Balm and OSP splash.
Sitting here in a nice Menthol glow.

I decided to stick with using this soap. I've been having difficulty lathering this soap. I have managed it by rubbing the puck on my face like a shave stick. Today I tried back to loading the brush, it just doesn't seem to want to load. I don't remember having any difficulty when I first brought it. Anyway, I eventually got a usable lather and have a nice 3 pass shave with a few pickups.

It would be interesting to compare the allergens on each of the labels to try to identify ones that may have caused irritation. You can then use to check any future purchases that may do the same

The other thing to bear in mind is USA fragrance oils are “uncut” and will be stronger. Generally speaking UK makers wouldn't be able to use them

It is always good to know that a good Shave is in the offing, choose The Oren and unless you close your eyes and hope for the best the Shave will be good. However, provided that you take care and spend time on the Shave, the finish will not just be good, but extremely good.Not only is this Razor a great Travel Razor, but it is one I would choose if I need a special going out Shave.
