So...as a bit of an obsessive watch person when off the leash I am standing next to the Rabbit Hole marked Russian Watches...can I have some guidance please?
Classics, unusual but beautiful, astonishing value for money... that sort of thing???

Nice bunch, Johnny! The Omega looks magnificent!
What's the NATO Bond one?
Hi Juan Manuel, it's a Christopher Ward Trident produced as a limited edition Bond tribute some years ago. They had the NATO strap colour matched to the original films.

My Selko of 25 years standing bit the bullet and died 2 weeks ago, I sent it in for repair but because of the age they had no parts...so I bought this yesterday
Thanks, Johnny... I need my glasses.. if I ever visit my optometrist, that is...
Nice edition, yes. I have a couple of Bond straps... Connery's and Craig's... Funny!
One of these days I should get myself an Omega Bond one...
Well said!Perfectly described! They're a class of their own... unusual designs... Reliable sturdy workhorse movements... yet sometimes you get the odd little thing... as if they had their own life... But the price is unrivalled... For instance... Amphibias: Automatic, hand winding, screw in crown, 200 m WR...and best of all you can mod them.. straps, bezels, hands, dials... and if you screw it up... well, it's €50...
And chances are you'll be the only guy in the room wearing one!
With your impeccable taste it would be a great one JM, a light dusting of No 89 and yet again hearts will be fluttering. Be good to yourself, my friend, you deserve it.
