Variant - 4.5
Nacet - 3
OSP Bay Rum
YaQi Silvertip

Gave the buffing another go and...

...wait for it...

...problem free! Stubble free! Free of nicks and weepers! Irritation free! A very close, great smelling shave. Will definitely factor in buffing as my main technique herein.

Roll up, roll up! :D

Monday evening
Soap - SMN Tabacco Toscano
Brush - Semogue 2000
Face lather
Razor - Schick G8
Blade - Proline B
Post - Thayer's Rose Petal and Aloe Vera
Smell - Alt-Innsbruck EDC

Smooth. I love these blades; sharp, yet really smooth. A fantastic lather from the Santa Maria Novella; although my brush shed 3-4 bristles (still, thousands left).

Zenith 506 TS
OSP Sandalwood
Rocnel SE-P Open Comb
½ Nacet Stainless #2
Alum Wash
Brut original A/S
Lacura Body Moisturiser

There's something about the Rocnel SE-P razor that I like. Once you tame the weight, it gives a great shave and up till now, haven't yet found a blade that doesn't suit. The Nacet was particularly smooth.
Now, which blade next???

Shave of the day, Saturday 02 December 2017 :-(

A belated shave of the day report, from Saturday, not one to write home about, unfortunately.

Pre-shave - Warm shower, Wright's Cold Tar Soap face wash.
Razor - Supply-SE v2.0 Classic (**) Plate.
Blade - Personna PTFE (Day 5).
Soap - OSP Neroli Soap.
Bowl - Little Wren.
Brush - Simpsons Chubby 2 Synthetic Badger.
Post shave - OSP Neroli Splash.

First of all, fell in love the with OSP Neroli, great scent - high quality, what I have come to expect from OSP.

First pass of the shave, went well, no issues. Lathered up for the second pass, and for some unknown reason I ended up with a cut on my chin, which was deepish - no idea how I managed that, especially with the Supply-SE. I was being careful, respectful with the razor, made sure I was shaving the soap etc.

Left with a small but noticible scratch/scar, which hopefully will dissapear - using plenty of Bio-Oil and Sudocrem.

Giving my skin a rest for a few days, back to daily shaving again soon :)

All the best,

Chris
